Tomisin curated an eclectic selection of shorts that interrogated the strength and power of Community. The films, helmed by a crop of accomplished film-makers were poignant and deeply touching as they potently present themes of displacement, family, gentrification and personal loss.

How does one’s home and environment, foreign or familiar, shape their identity and values? The post-screening discussion with the film-makers explored their searing and timely portrait of modern Britain and the illuminating characters that have anchored their stories.
